The birthplace of "Light Horse" Harry Lee, father of Civil War General Robet E. Lee, this 500-acre state park on the banks of the Potomac River features a state-of-the-art boat launch, sandy beaches for excellent bass fishing and hiking trails. Overnight boating March through October. Rental of canoes and kayaks available. Park and Environmental Education Centers have exhibitions about the area's Civil War History.
