With spring in full swing, now is the perfect time to shake off those winter blues and get out to enjoy the outdoors activities and events Prince William & Manassas has to offer.
Sip hand crafted wines at the Winery at La Grange while enjoying a picnic lunch and live music. Spend the weekend at Greenville Farm camping and experience the 200 acre working farm in action. Attend the Arts Alive! Festival on May 2nd at the Hylton Performing Arts Center to experience live performances, demonstrations, food and art vendors.
Sign up for the Soaring Eagle 5K on April 18 in Historic Downtown Manassas, then head on over to the Harris Pavilion for the Live Well Festival offering free health screenings, fitness classes, kid activities, entertainment, and more.
At Locus Shade Park rent a paddle boat, go fishing at the marina, play a round of mini golf or stop by the batting cages to practice your swing. Spend an evening under the stars camping at Prince William Forest National Park, after a long day enjoying some of their 35+ miles of hiking and biking trails, or explore the Bull Run Mountain trails. Then spend the day shopping local in the historic Town of Haymarket.
The Potomac Nationals are celebrating their 31st season this year. Take the entire family to opening day on April 9th at Pfitzner Stadium to see them play the Lynchburg Hillcats, or play a round of golf with friends at one of the many serene golf courses in the county.
