Things to Do Memorial Day Weekend in Prince William & Manassas 2017
Memorial Day is this weekend!
For some this marks the official start of summer, for others it’s a time to get out and enjoy the long weekend with friends and family. No matter how you chose to celebrate, remember that the holiday is a time to remember those who have fallen while serving our armed forces allowing us to enjoy our freedom each and every day.
As a guide to honor our fallen soldiers this weekend, we have found a number of events happening throughout Prince William & Manassas that are sure to make it a memorable one.
Marine Corps. Museum
The "Marine Tribute Bike" will be on display at the museum during the Memorial Day which was custom-built by Lawrence Tremblay and his friends as a tribute to his fallen son, Cpl Joseph Tremblay, and his fellow warriors.
On May 28th, there will be motorcycles at the Museum as the riders prepare to ride in support of the Rolling Thunder demonstration. Band of Brothers Motorcycle Club invites all riders to join them in the Museum's parking lot for the ride to the Pentagon.
