There’s no better destination than Prince William & Manassas as our county is busting at the seams with events all-month long! From live music concerts at Jiffy Lube Live to local fine art performances, we have you covered for your entertainment needs!

Arts Alive! – May 2nd

Arts Alive! 2015 is a free arts festival occurring on Saturday May 2nd from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas. This event will showcase 32 different performances on four stages – Merchant Hall, the Gregory Family Theater, the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery inside the Hylton Center, and the Showmobile outside the building. Performances will range from the Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra to Magnificent Belly Dance to the Dumfries Elementary School Chorus. Attendance and parking is free so come out and support local talent!

Manassas Regional Airport Airshow & Open House – May 2nd

Located at Manassas Regional Airport, the annual Manassas Airshow is a sight to behold for all in attendance. Beginning at 10 a.m., the airshow will run until 4 p.m. Featuring some of the top local aerobatic performers, the Manassas Regional Airport Airshow aims to inspire future aviators of tomorrow with safe, top quality, family friendly entertainment. Parking and attendance is completely free so bring your entire family to this exhilarating event!

Dumfries Multicultural Festival – May 9th

Come out to Dumfries on Saturday May 9th and help the oldest chartered town in Virginia celebrate their diversity! The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with local vendors, community performers, and plenty of family fun on tap at Merchants Park. The event will be held rain or shine!

Sail Occoquan Boat Parade & River Festival – May 16th

The town of Occoquan will hold their annual boat parade on Saturday, May 16th. The parade will be viewable from the town’s public dock and the boardwalk behind Mamie Davis Park. In addition, many unique shops and restaurants in downtown Occoquan will be open for visitors to try! Also, those attending the boat parade will have the ability to search for eight marine flags that spell out O-C-C-O-Q-A-U-N to be entered into a drawing for four round-trip tickets for a cruise on The Miss Rivershore, valued at $120. The parade begins at 10 am.

Dave Matthews Band – May 23rd

Known for their acoustic melodies and jam rock sessions, David Matthews Band is returning to Jiffy Lube Live to perform two full sets dubbed “A Very Special Evening With the Dave Matthews Band”. The incredible voice of Dave Matthews and the multi-instrumentalist setup really delivers a stunning sound. This is shaping up to be one of the biggest shows of the year so don’t miss out!

Rush – May 30th

It’s been 40 years since the release of their self-titled album but that hasn’t slowed down Rush’s ascent to being one of the best alt-rock bands to ever come out of Canada. On May 30th, they will steer their R40 tour to Jiffy Lube Live! Famed for the phenomenal experience of their live shows, the band is bound to make this an unforgettable night! Buy a ticket and come dance the weekday blues away on a warm Saturday night!
