Engage in Civil War history at Manassas National Battlefield Park, the site of the First and Second Battles of Manassas/Bull Run. Walking trails and guided ranger tours take you through cannon lined paths and scenic fields where brothers and neighbors once fought. The Visitor Center Museum holds artifacts that have been found throughout the years. The historic Stone House is a must see, as it served as a make-shift hospital during the war.

Take some time and serve your fallen brothers and sisters, by being a part of the Missing in America Project at Quantico National Cemetery, whose goal is to honor forgotten heroes by finding a final resting place for them. Groups can take a tour and lay wreaths to commemorate fellow service members.

Their opera house, Merchant Hall, provides an intimate setting to enjoy traditional and today’s top acts, having hosted both Beethoven’s classics and bluegrass concerts. Gregory Family Theater often has dance, theater, and chamber groups perform many times throughout the year. For the creative minded, they also have the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery to showcase works by local artists, giving your military reunion group the chance to experience local culture and arts.
